Our story started when a passionate industrial designer and a pedantic engineer took their love for cycling and came up with a tested business idea: Let’s bring bicycle maintenance to customers, wherever they are. At the core of Yeply, is a sincere passion to encourage a healthier, active, and sustainable lifestyle. We believe that biking will make the world a better place. And it is our mission to remove every barrier to riding your bike.
Over the years we have serviced tens of thousands of bikes in Finland, Germany, and the Netherlands and are preparing to expand into other European countries as we have aggressive growth plans and are riding the perfect wave of inner city transportation transformation fueled by surges in private and business sales of traditional and e-bikes.
To support our growth we are looking for a curious intern to join our central team in the field of operations. You’ll report to Philipp - Head of Central Operations.
The role will be based in Berlin or Hamburg. Munich can be discussed. Partially remote work possible.
You will help to build up the central operations department. Amongst others, this involves:
Learn to repair a bike, at least the basics. It won’t be your main task
Analyze, create and document exciting to read standard procedures for a big variety of areas.
Improve and develop efficient learning, development and communication flows
Support establishing and running an on-boarding and training concept
Improve reporting structures
What you bring to the table
In order to be successful in this role we think that you may need:
You are currently studying or finished your studies (congrats by the way) in a related field
You are a communicative team player and have organizational and implementation power.
You love the challenge to find you structured workflow in a sometimes not structured, still in progress kind of environment
You show initiative, enjoy accountability and have a solution-oriented way of working
Passion for bikes and or sustainable mobility topics is helping
Fluency in English and good understanding in German
